The Ascension Fashion and Hair Show took place at the Wyndam Anatole under the direction of Lisa Perry. Undevco Magazine had the opportunity to talk with the event hostess Vivica A. Fox in the press room before the fashion show. Ms. Fox gave us insight on the vigorous work-out regiment (3 months, 5 days a week for seven hours a day) Quentin Tarantino put her through to get in shape during the filiming of the blockbuster movie "Kill Bill Volume 1". Vivica stated, "I hated Quentin for making me work out so hard but, I'm glad because he helped me get my body back." Vivica Fox also spoke briefly about her lead role in the Barbershop spin-off movie, "Beauty Shop". Lesley Lawson of Undevco magazine asked Vivica if there was anything she would like to say to young actors and entertainers. Ms. Fox replied by stating, "Aspiring entertainers should study, they should make sure that they know this is a business and that there is a reason it is called show business because there is a business behind the show." "I want to let young attractive girls know that it is not just all about looks." "If you walk into an audition there will be 10 to 15 other girls just as attractive and just as talented as yourself." "Make sure that you apply yourself and let no one stand in the way of your dreams." " You will hear the response no more than you will hear the response yes but, once you start hearing yes a bunch of doors will begin opening for you." "
Vivica Fox also told us to check out her new show called "Missing" on Sundays @ 10 PM et/p
