OLE MANN
OLE: I’m Ole Mann from West Dallas projects. I’ve been doing the rap thing for a minute. Ole Mann doesn’t represent old, it represents wisdom strength and honor. I’m doing this for my people. UDC: Who are your musical influences? OLE: Scarface, first off because he keeps it so real. He’s down to earth. He tells it like it is. Biggie and JayZ are the great ones. I respect what they did and do to this day. They speak their mind. They did it different from everyone else.
UDC: Is there a message or a theme to your music if so what is it? OLE: My message is that I want the world to hear me. Everyone has their point of view but my point of view is entirely different from everyone else. (continued on next page) |
I want you to know my where I’m coming from. I want them to know my struggles and my pain. My fights. My battles. I want people to love me and at the same time hate me. This is life, baby. My life. UDC: What’s priority number one for Ole Mann? OLE: Getting it out to the people, whoever wants it. The people who will take time out to listen and put the CD in. And then tell a friend. UDC: Do you have any words you would like to express to your audience? OLE: I just want you to know what I speak is from the heart and soul. I couldn’t even tell you how much this means to me. This isn’t for any rims. I just want to feed my family. I’m going to give you everything I’ve got. I know you will listen and appreciate it. OLE MANN
